Check for overlapping wifi channels:
netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid
Select a channel that doesn't conflict with at least the strongest of your neighbours networks.
For 2.4GHz pick a channel 5 channels away from any strong neighbouring signals.
For 5GHz there are many more channels, use a channel several numbers away from any 5GHz networks.
